Barro Candleholder (Light Blue)

Bring sculptural serenity, warmth, and ambient candlelight to your living space with the HAY Barro Candleholder in Light Blue. Conceived by Portuguese designer Rui Pereira as part of HAY’s acclaimed Barro collection—celebrating the tactile beauty of "red clay" - this distinctive candleholder balances ancient ceramic craft with clean contemporary geometry.

Crafted in Portugal from durable red terracotta, the piece features a tiered, stepped circular base with a wide rim designed to catch dripping wax while offering a grounded, balanced presence. The upper surface is finished in a high-gloss light blue glaze that contrasts artfully with the natural, exposed clay underside. Perfectly sized to hold standard taper candles, it creates a calming focal point when styled on a mantle, dining table, or bedside, whether displayed alone or clustered with other pieces from the Barro series.
