The plate’s softly undulating scalloped rim (hanarimu) features carved relief detailing that captures the gentle movement of sunlight and breeze, casting soft shadows across the pure white porcelain base.

Atop this sculpted canvas blooms an intricate blue rose surrounded by delicate trailing floral sprigs, applied using traditional copperplate transfer printing (dōban-tensha).
